It's already past my bedtime (at 8:45 pm), but I wanted to post about our chat with the doc tonight. All the major tests appear to be negative. The CBC looked great and that would have shown elevated white blood counts if he were fighting an infection. But no, it all looked great. The problem is . . . the jaundice number is back up - close to 16. UGH!! It went up about a point a day this week. That's also not good. At that rate we'd be at 20 by Tuesday and that's when it starts to get dangerous. Sooooo . . . they want us to go to the hospital tomorrow to their lab to test the jaundice AGAIN. I swear it will never end. I got George an outfit today that says "Tough Guy." He certainly is. I think the idea is that we want to make sure it's not going up FASTER than 1 point a day. Clearly we can't try the formula trick again, given his rash. Sooooo . . . we'll know tomorrow night how that's looking and I will report back.

George is at Judi's for the night - hence my desire to be asleep VERY soon. Too bad I gotta wake myself up at least once in the night to pump. Solid sleep would be nice. Not sure if/when that ever happens. Maybe by 12 weeks??
